Fanboy and Chum Chum Confessions

Some find Fanboy and Chum Chum an idiotic show, but when you get past the silliness, how is it not adorable?

Two kids live in a water tower with no family, instead taking care of each other. They wear superhero costumes, always looking for the magic and wonderment in life. And despite having little to no consistent superpowers, they risk anything to help anyone in need.

We’ve heard Fanboy and Chum Chum with British accents; now I’d like to hear what Kyle sounds like with an American accent.

Are any older fans reminded of another cartoon about wild, crazy orphans living in a water tower? (Can you guess it?)

I liked the FanKyle pairing even before I liked this show.

I had another interesting dream some time ago: I was half watching, half inside an alternate pilot episode for the show. In it, Fanboy’s mom (even in the dream I acknowledged the strangeness of that) was repeatedly dropping him off at a daycare he didn’t particularly like. Chum Chum was largely unseen during the episode, though I believe Fanboy did talk to him on the way home. The children at the daycare were given individual rooms, and while in his room Fanboy met Kyle, who grandly introduced himself in a presentation very similar to the one in “Wizboy”, and had come to Fanboy’s room in search of a lost wand.

In a more recent dream I was at a flea market with Kyle and some of my relatives.

Did anyone else not figure out on their own that Yo is Asian?

The first time I had a dream with them, Chum Chum threw a banana like a boomerang at Fanboy, Kyle, and Boog, who had to duck out of the way. Immediately afterwards, Chum Chum falls into a pile of corn ears, picks up one and says "I love you, corn!" I know this is random, but what do you think it means? :)

Heh heh, well…bananas and corn are healthy foods, they’re both yellow (which is a happy color), and a boomerang is something that returns when you throw it…I dunno, see if you can conclude something with that.

I’d like to see episodes with adventures of Fanboy, Chum Chum, Kyle, and Yo. And Oz.
